Special Days has been in the business of making high quality cakes for 16 years. Prices start at £240 for a three-tier creation, and can go up to as much as £100,000 - owner Michael Burns's current project is his own wedding cake, which is covered in diamonds! "We recommend booking a year in advance because - as the price is frozen - you can save money this way," he says. And although four months is the minimum notice period, they have been known to do rush jobs in as little as two hours, but only in a cake emergency!
