Gail Hardie is a bridal hair specialist with 18
years' experience, ten of those working in
one of Scotland's top salons. On your wedding day Gail will arrive at least an hour before the make-up artist to begin styling. "It's just so lovely seeing everyone on the day," she says. "It's a special feeling, with everyone around the bride wishing her the best. It makes me burst with pride when I see the transformation of the bride and her wedding party." Gail is happy to work away until everyone's look is complete. "Sometimes you have to not run with your itinerary and just go with what happens on the day. I have even helped brides into their dress when necessary..." Known for being passionate about what she does, Gail's attitude is both professional and friendly. "I am a caring, reliable, easy-going person, and this is reflected in my work. But perhaps most importantly, I am always calm when working with brides!"
