Aurora is a live band with decades of experience playing weddings. That’s decades between them by the way, just in case you thought they were ancient. One of their best qualities is a willingness to adapt. As lead singer Tony Graham says, “We play any style, from a substantial ceilidh set, to jazz, wedding classics and the most current chart music. Our set list is constantly updated so that we always sound fresh.” They endeavour to accommodate special requests, and will happily learn to play any first dance tune they don’t know. As well as the standard band set-up (keyboard, guitar, bass drums and vocals), Aurora has a member who plays sax. The line up can also be extended to a seven-piece, by adding a horn section with additional sax, trombone and trumpet player. Everyone in the band has a huge passion for music, and when you see them on stage you’ll immediately notice the rapport between them. As bass player Jamie says, “We all have specialist skills in different areas and we love bringing all these elements together to form the great band we have. A good band will help you have a good wedding - however, a great band...”
