Rogues’ Gallery is a superb five-piece live show band specialising in classic pop covers, from the golden oldies of the sixties right up to current chart hits – they’ll play any party tunes that are good for dancing. One of the band’s favourites at the moment is ‘Valerie’ by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse; as band member Craig Brown told Real Life Weddings, “That really gets the party going!” Because they have such a vast song list, they are able to pick and choose songs to please every crowd. Craig says, “Our main strengths lie in being totally live and in us being experienced and accomplished musicians individually. Because we are all aged around 25, we have a fresh image too.” They’ve performed with the likes of Jason Donovan, though they weren’t sure whether to admit that or not! They aren’t just about pop though, they also perform a short ceilidh set too. With top quality equipment, plenty of experience and versatility, they are suitable for most weddings. And there’s plenty of enthusiasm too. As Stuart says, “The job satisfaction is fantastic. Each week we get the opportunity to play a major role in the biggest event of two people’s lives.”
