Jack Photography is based in Linlithgow, but Gordon Jack and fellow photographer Geof Johnstone travel far and wide photographing weddings together. Gordon has been a photo-journalist for over 10 years, working
internationally on documentary, fashion and news features. As he acknowledges himself, “The knowledge and experience I have gained working in this environment has been invaluable and greatly influences the style in
which I photograph each wedding.”

Gordon began photographing weddings in 2002 with his wife Gilly. As the business grew Gordon’s friend Geof came on board in 2005, “Geof and I grew up together as best friends and this relationship makes us a great team. We always cover weddings together as this allows us to reflect the complete story of the couple’s big day”

Their relaxed attitude is one that stems from having experienced just about everything from 250-strong weddings to the smallest celebrations imaginable, “We recently photographed a wedding with just two people
where I had to double as witness and best man and Geof was chief bridesmaid!” The pair’s enthusiastic yet, relaxed approach to their work is reflected in the photos. Rather than trying to control the day they simply
observe and document the celebrations as they unfold. Every wedding is unique in it’s own way, be it the dress, venue, cake, etc... There will always be one precise moment in the day a couple will cherish, the secret is capturing that moment!
