From an early age Suzanne Black Photography Stuart Nimmo held a strong ambition to succeed in the competitive world of press photography. Then after studying the subject at college he became one of Scotland's most highly regarded photojournalists, working for many of its national newspapers. In the search for a new challenge, he relocated to Canada where he soon became a regular contributor to the country's top newspapers and magazines, until he heard the call of home, which brought him back to his place of birth. "My experience working for the press means I can provide my clients with the highest quality reportage photography," he says. "What I enjoy most about wedding photography is being able to tell a story without words and the satisfaction of producing images that the couple will enjoy forever." Stuart aims to take natural, relaxed wedding pictures and concentrates on capturing the day as it happens, understanding that every wedding and every couple are different. "By meeting the couple before the day and talking through their requirements I'm able to get an excellent idea of what they're looking for." Stuart has also been known to go to extreme lengths to get that ultimate shot: "You might see me perching on balconies, climbing trees, or hanging out of windows... It's all in a day's work!"
