For Suzanne Black, photography has been a passion since she can remember - growing up, a camera was never far away. But six years ago she turned her hobby into a career, and she's been loving every minute of it since! Suzanne describes her style as "very modern, relaxed and fun," but she also spends time with the couple to create some unusual and dramatic portraits. "I am not a traditional photographer, so I don't spend a lot of time doing loads of formal groups. I keep them to about eight to ten shots and get them done as quickly as possible, leaving me more time alone with the couple." Suzanne is so unobtrusive on the day that, when viewing their photos for the first time, many couples make remarks such as ‘How did you get that photograph?' and ‘We didn't see you take that!' As she says herself: "It is very important to remember that the day is all about the couple and not the photographer! And to make sure couples are as relaxed as possible, I give all my clients a complimentary pre-wedding shoot. They soon realise it's going to be lots of fun!" Although she makes sure the couple is relaxed, she isn't always so chilled out herself... "I once stood on the roof of a school chapel to get a group shot of 150 people!"
