Just a few miles from Glasgow city centre and
within easy access of Glasgow International
Airport, Pollok House is hidden away in a
450-hectare country estate. This grand 18thcentury
house is considered to be one of the
finest in Scotland and is home to a superb art
collection.
The stunning Pavilion Library – displaying two
El Greco masterpieces – is a romantic location
ideal for ceremonies with up to 75 guests.
Guests can then sip Champagne as they make
their way through the French doors out into the
manicured parterre garden.
Couples are sure to enjoy having their
photographs taken in the beautiful gardens
and on the sweeping staircases, prior to
making their way through to the grand Dining
Room to rejoin their guests. The room has
large-scale Dutch hunting scenes lining the
walls and is a fantastic setting for formal dining
for up to 75 guests. The Edwardian Kitchen
and Servants’ Hall also provides a relaxed
venue for ceilidhs and dances and is capable
of hosting an evening reception for up to 125
guests. And a marquee can be erected on the
lawn to the side of this spectacular house, to
accommodate larger celebrations.
