The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh is a unique beautiful city venue. Hire of the College ensures access to all its historic rooms, providing plenty of space.

The Events Team can assist brides with many aspects of wedding planning, advising on caterers and recommending suppliers for example. The venue’s Danielle Ellis told Real Life Weddings that the Events Team can’t help getting caught up in the joy of a celebration: “It is wonderful to be part of it and to help make the experience unforgettable,” she said.

“Guests are very impressed with our wonderful Victorian and Georgian rooms – and we’re show-offs at heart!” According to Danielle, the College doesn’t just suit traditional weddings. “Our venue is perfect for couples who want something just that bit different,” she says.

In fact, there’s lots to offer any couple, with a large dancefloor, plenty of space for a separate bar area, another area where guests can sit quietly and even a small courtyard garden. Danielle recommends couples visit the venue in order to fully understand its charms: “They really need to see just how warm and welcoming our venue is... with a touch of class of course!”
