WEST is a truly unique wedding venue where you can celebrate your entire big day in the old Winding House of Templeton's Carpet Factory, one of Glasgow's most historic buildings. Overlooking the People's Palace on Glasgow Green, WEST is home to Scotland's most innovative brewery, bar and restaurant, and was granted a wedding licence in 2007.
The brewery's Hop Room is licenced for
ceremonies with up to 60 guests. Alternatively the main brewery can accommodate up to 180 guests for a ceremony and 400 guests at the reception.
WEST isn't just about brewing beer though;
this unusual venue has had rave reviews
thanks to its menus and service. There is lots of flexibility too, as they cater for everything from light finger buffets to elaborate banquets. The iconic carpet factory was designed by Victorian architect William Leiper, and is modelled on the Doge's Palace in Venice. The building is unique in terms of its design and construction, and is one of Glasgow's most
revered and protected sites. Prior to and on
