How do we choose which weddings are featured?

We receive lots of interest from couples who would like to appear in Real Life Weddings magazine and are often asked what makes us choose to feature one particular wedding over another. In truth, there are several factors taken into account. Firstly, as visual impact is crucial for any magazine, strong wedding photography is a prerequisite; this includes a good variety of images showing the story of the whole day. In addition, each magazine must have a good spread of stories both geographically and in terms of types of venues, as well as weddings that fit well with the specific issue’s theme. We are happy to hear about your wedding at any stage in your plans, however please note that brides are only contacted regarding articles after their wedding has taken place.
